Our building was thoughtfully remodeled in 2015 to be fully accessible, with features designed to support individuals with mobility and physical needs. From handicapped parking and entrances to accessible seating and restrooms, we strive to remove barriers so everyone can enter, move freely, and feel at home in our spaces.
We have handicapped drop-off and reserved handicapped parking on the west side of the meetinghouse (the opposite side of building from Irving St) with barrier-free access to the main lobby and our worship spaces. An elevator takes you to our fellowship and classroom spaces as well as the balcony, our quiet room and the Arlington Blvd lobby. If you have other special needs, please let us know via our virtual Visitor Card. We will do our best to accommodate you.
We worship as a family, and that includes people of every age and ability. We understand that some may need to move, make noise, or take breaks—and that is not just accepted, it is welcomed. Children (including those with autism and developmental challenges) are an important part of our time together, and we celebrate their presence.
For those who need additional support, we offer activity materials for young children, a nursery for those under three, a quiet room for those who are sensory challenged and a caring church family ready to assist at any time.
We recognize both the joys and challenges that come with caring for loved ones with special needs. You are not alone. Our congregation seeks to walk alongside families with patience, encouragement, and love, offering practical help and understanding whenever it is needed. If there is something that would help you or your loved one feel more comfortable, please let us know—we are glad to help.
Our church is a community where people care deeply for one another. You’ll see it in the friendships, the encouragement, and the genuine joy shared among our members. We invite you to stay after services and experience the warmth and connection that define our church family.
