On the first day of the week, while it is still dark, God raises Jesus from the dead, breaking the power of death and beginning new creation. The risen Christ meets Mary in her grief, not as memory but as living presence, calling her by name. What was lost is not restored as it was before, but transformed—because Jesus is alive, and the world is no longer the same.
